WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today revealed the allocation of three U.S. Department of Education Student Support Services Program grants, amounting to a total of $830,837, designated for the University of Memphis. In addition to these funds, a fourth grant of $161,474 is being awarded through the Long-Term Training – Rehabilitation Counseling Program.
In his announcement, Congressman Cohen expressed his satisfaction with the federal investment in local education, stating, “I am always pleased to see substantial federal investments at the University of Memphis.” These grants are aimed at enhancing student support services and improving educational outcomes for students at the university.
